Vikram Bal, MA

Vikram Bal(he/him), is a second-year Master of Social Work student at Hunter College’s Silberman School of Social Work. He has worked as a professional opera singer and has also taught ESL to adults. He wants to integrate his creative background into making a more direct impact in the areas of mental health and social justice, which is what brought him to pursuing clinical social work. Being Indian-American and a child of immigrants, he would like to focus his work on serving immigrants and global populations. He holds a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance, and completed his undergraduate studies as a double major in music and anthropology. He is a native of Queens, New York.
