Dr. Fernando Nominated for an Elmmy Award
In April Dr. Fernando was nominated by her peers for Elmhurst Hospital’s Elmmy Award for exceptional service and care to patients and fellow physicians.
The American Psychiatric Association (APA) has selected the National Consortium of Torture Treatment Programs, which the Libertas Center is member of, as the recipient of the 2017 Human Rights Award.
Libertas Awarded the Leyton Award
The Libertas Center was awarded the Leyton Award for championing the unheard voice by Houses on the Moon Theater Company, whose mission is to to dispel ignorance and isolation through the theatrical amplification of unheard voices.
